Stephen A. Spagnuolo
Stephen joined The Gerson Group in Fall 2009 as a Managing Director. He brings a decade of executive search experience, most recently as the founding member of UK headquartered Sheffield Haworth’s US business, which he established in 2004 and led the Firm’s overall coverage of the US market. In relatively short time, New York based Sheffield Haworth Inc. grew in size and scale, such that it is widely recognized as a ‘firm of choice’ amongst its clients. Stephen worked previously as a member of Russell Reynolds Associates' Global Banking and Markets Practice. His principal coverage centers on Corporate Finance, M&A and Private Equity; additionally he has performed a wide range of financial services searches across Capital Markets, Asset Management, General Counsel, Legal & Compliance and Financial Officer functional areas.
A former Captain of the United States Marine Corps, Stephen holds a BS in Political science from the United States Naval Academy. Among his affiliations, he is a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS). |
