Deborah Markus
Executive Director
Deborah Markus has over a decade of experience
in the financial services and executive recruitment
industries. Prior to joining The Gerson Group, she was
a member of the Global Financial Services Team at Russell
Reynolds Associates focusing primarily on senior recruitments
in the Investment Management sector.
Ms. Markus
spent seven years with JP Morgan Asset Management in
a number of marketing and sales roles and was responsible
for generating and maintaining client business across
all JP Morgan asset classes. Prior to joining JP Morgan,
Ms. Markus was a member of the Consumer M&A
Team at NationsBanc Montgomery Securities in San Francisco.
Ms. Markus has an MBA from
the Stern School of Business at New York University
with concentrations in Finance and Marketing and a BA in Political Science,
cum laude, from Binghamton University.
