Russ Gerson has more than 25 years of corporate development, executive recruiting and consulting experience and has led numerous projects for a broad range of clients. Prior to launching The Gerson Group, Mr. Gerson founded A.T. Kearney’s Global Financial Markets Practice. Previously he founded the London office of the Whitney Group, the New York office of Baines Gwinner, and the financial services practice of Webb Johnson Associates. Mr. Gerson also worked for J. Henry Schroder, Drexel Burnham Lambert, and served as President of AIESEC, an international college student business exchange and training program. In 2008, he was named to BusinessWeek's Top 150 List of the World’s Most Influential Headhunters.
Mr. Gerson led the Transition Planning Committee as Head of the Presidential Appointment Group for the 2008 John McCain Presidential Campaign. He serves on the Board of Trustees of The Hudson Institute and is Chairman of the Board of AIESEC-US. He is a frequent contributor to Bloomberg News, CNBC and various print media where he is considered an expert on economic trends and the global financial industry.
Mr. Gerson has a BBA in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
